The courts are ready on June 1st!

The Oakridge Tennis Club is hoping everyone is safe and healthy during these difficult times. We are a volunteer-run, non-profit community tennis club affiliated with the City of Mississauga's Parks and Recreation Division. Our two courts are nestled among parkland, mature trees and a beautiful neighbourhood. The executive committee is extremely excited to welcome new and returning members to join our club anytime. Our courts were resurfaced in 2018 and are finally ready for play!

NEW FOR 2020 … you can register online, pay fees online and book court times online

Given the new guidelines by the city for COVID-19, all pages in the registration package must be printed, initialled and signed to process the registration. For online registration, you will be asked to acknowledge all rules and waivers.

Also new this year is reserving court time online. Court 1 will now be reserved for all online bookings, while Court 2 will continue to be reserved for drop-in bookings. Refer to the attached newsletter for details.

Offering one of the lowest member fees in South Mississauga, the Oakridge Tennis Club always welcomes new members. The strength of the organization is dependent on the efforts of their volunteers. OTC happily accept tennis enthusiasts of all skill levels to come out and volunteer their time at the club.

Stay healthy and play safe,

The 2020 OTC Executive Committee

COVID-19 Update

Spring is in the air and we know many are eagerly waiting for the tennis season to start. We are working closely with the city of Mississauga on the return to play process.

Closure of all outdoor tennis courts remain in place as the City is taking a measured “made in Mississauga approach” based on the advice of our Chief Medical Officer of Health. Committee members are permitted to access clubs and facilities for the purpose of general maintenance.

We are not permitted to install the nets. The OTC committee is also working through an online registration and booking system – more details to follow.

We will update our new and returning members as soon as we know more.

Thank you.
